We also tested various foods for starch. We used iodine in this experiments. Foods that contain starch turn a blue/black colour.

Skipathon
The boys and girls in fourth class have been very busy skipping at break time for the last few months, everyone can join in and it's great exercise for students and teachers. We organised a skipathon for the whole school to take part in and we raised some money for Educate Together! Here of some of the rhymes that thw children have learned.
England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales,
Inside, outside, on the rails!
One, one, eat a plum,
Two, two, touch your shoe,
Three three, bend your knee,
Four, four touch the floor,
Five, five, you're doing fine,
Six, six, pick up sticks,
Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn around,
Teddy bear, teddy bear, touch the ground,
Teddy bear, teddy bear, say goodnight,
Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn off the light!
Granny in the kitchen, doing a bit of stitching,
In comes the boogey man and pushes her out!
Do you know any more?
