Our Mindfulness Posters

With the help of Martina and Melinda we in 5th class have being exploring the extremely beneficial area of 'Mindfulness'. Martina has introduced us to the benefits of meditation, understanding and dealing with our feelings and emotions, and using positivity as a powerful outlook. The sessions have been extremely uplifting :)

Bullying Awareness Competition Entries

We had a great response to our 'Bullying Awareness' poster campaign. 5th class pupils came up with some very creative and powerful images. Above are a few samples. Well done to all those who took part!

Our Recyclable Festive Tree

5th and 6th class with the help of Megan's Mum, Bridget, created this wonderfully Festive piece from plastic bottles.

Alanna's Art on the RTE website

Alanna is a renowned artist among her peers in 5th class and it was great to see her fantastic drawing displayed on the RTE website. Alanna is very modest about her art but I think you'll agree that this is wonderful.

YV Hallelujah Concert 2014 - Citywest

We had an amazing experience as part of this event. Thanks to Sorcha for all her preparation, energy and organising. I think one and all would agree - it was brilliant! We'll never forget it....

Maths Trails with Senior Infants

5th class as part of Maths week took SI on a maths trail they created. It was a wonderful success and brilliant to see the loving, caring, fantastic nature of all of the older students with the younger ones. Teacher was especially proud of 5th class on this day.

Babaro - Stories of a Yellow Town

We had a wonderful experience at Babaro in October. We were captivated by this wonderful performance.

Daniel's last day!

An emotional and very sad day for 5th class, despite some of the smiling faces, with our good friend Daniel McAskill moving to Canada. We wish Daniel all the very best.
