Hand Sanitiser
The school supplies a hand sanitising gel in automatic dispensers throughout the school. However each child must have their own small hand sanitiser which is to be left in school with their name on it. During the day, this is the sanitiser they will be most likely to use. As some hand sanitisers can be rough on hands we have identified a locally produced product that is gentle on skin. It can be ordered through the school at €4 per 60ml bottle. The school will have a stock of these and if you order one, we will put the child’s name on the bottle and have it ready in their classroom for when they arrive. There is no profit to the school and parents are free to send in whichever hand sanitiser they like for their children. Should you wish to order this hand sanitiser please fill out this form. Please ensure that you pay by bank transfer using the following details IBAN: IE59BOFI90403410495756, BIC: BOFIIE2D before you place your order. Please add HS and your child's name to the narrative so we can track payments. |
Here is a little blurb from the manufacturer:
As we all know continuous application of hand sanitiser to the skin results in very dry hands. As a mum myself I feel slightly nervous about our children returning to school during these different times. In particular the children using commercial sanitiser on their delicate young skin. Just prior to lockdown I created a fully licensed, WHO compliant hand sanitiser. The Dolly Tub hand sanitiser is crammed full of goodies which combat the dehydrating effect of the alcohol, whilst maintaining 80% alcohol strength. The ingredients include organic rose water, local honey, aloe vera and glycerine (all natural humectants, which is a fancy pants word for a substance, which creates and retains moisture to the skin). The sanitiser is fragranced with sweet orange, lavender and rosemary essential oils. Most importantly it contains 80% natural grain alcohol (Ethanol), which is considerably less clinically whiffy than the alternative , Isopropanol. For more information see https://thedollytub.com/
