Getting To Know Our New School

Our friends in 6th class made fantastic maps of our school. They collected us on our second week in school and gave us a tour of the school. It was a super activity and as well as meeting our new friends in 6th class we got to read their maps and see where all the other classes in our school are and what the middle and top yards look like. They were really friendly and took great care of us as we explored our new school. Thanks to Joanne and all the boys and girls in 6th class.

We also went to check out where Anna and Noreen work on the top floor. They were delighted to see us!.

We're Very Arty!

Weve been cutting and sticking.

.......and painting ourselves.

We classified leaves and then made some leaf rubbings. We looked at oak, sycamore and horse-chestnut leaves and we talked about the fruits of these trees too.

Our new sound was 'd' so we invited Lochlann from 6th class to play his drum for us....what a super sound he made!.
