Stitches le Shawn Mendes
Shíl mé go mbeadh muid slán go deo
Mo mhianta ar fad iad scaipithe sa gceo
Do chaint níos géire ná haon scian
Do mo ghearradh domhain
Mé céasta ag a’bpian
Airím uaithi go bhfuil muide dul faoi
Ach go deo leanfaidh mé ormsa ar aghaidh
Rudaí beaga sin a bhí cur as di
Chun fáin
Mé i gcónaí caoineadh i ngan fhios dhom
A’crith le heagla ’s gan tú ann liom
Anois gan póigín ó do chroíse
Gan fonnamh ná faoise’
Titim trína chéile
Mo chroí i bpian nach féidir éala’
Anois gan póigín ó do chroíse
Gan fonnamh ná faoiseamh
Mar leamhan faoi gheas’ an tsolais geal
Mheall tú orm arís ‘s rinne tú an feall
Níos binbí ná an tadhall faoi shioc
Ní bheidh mé dallta níos mó
Ní hé nár chreid mé faoin mbrón
Airím uaithi go bhfuil muide dul faoi
Ach go beo leanfaidh mé ormsa ar aghaidh

Cycle Right Training
Just a snippet of the start of our Cycle Right training being provided by the wonderful Richard and Leroy from Cycle Right Ireland. Little did we know we weren't even getting on and off a bike correctly let alone cycling around the roads correctly. We finished our first session feeling much more equipped to deal with anything that comes our way. :)

Science Experiments
When water is added to the tablet the gas carbon dioxide is released. The pressure of the carbon dioxide gas builds up inside the canister until it becomes so great that it blows the canister from its lid. The gas rushing out of the end of the canister pushes it in the opposite direction. The ‘rocket’ can shoot up to 5 metres into the air.

What is a rocket? According to NASA it is a long, narrow, jet-propelled device or vehicle that is used as a signal or weapon, for fireworks, or to provide the power for spacecraft. http://www.nasa.gov/audience/forkids/glossary/index_r_s.html What does your dictionary say? Did you know? Rockets are used to send flares as distress signals, in fireworks and to launch spacecraft. Did you know? Fireworks are illegal, apart from licensed fireworks displays. Fireworks are dangerous and can cause accidents to people using them. They also upset blind people and dogs. For more information look up http://www.ispca.ie/behaviour/fireworks.html.
