The school opened in September 2008 with 20 children and two teachers. It moved from Kilcolgan to a fantastic new set up in Kilcornan, Clarinbridge in 2016 and now has over 200 pupils. The school was set up to service the greater ’south Galway’ area, which it does with children now attending from the Oranmore, Gort, Craughwell, Kinvara and Ardrahan areas. Five dedicated school buses service these areas.

We recognise that each child is unique and that children come to us with many different learning styles, talents and personalities. Recognising this individuality we aim to help each child realise his or her full potential while nurturing the values that encourage children to ‘learn together to live together.
